WOW Winner!

Last month I won the #WOW award. WOW stands for ‘Women on Wednesdays’ and it’s an award conceived by Ann Summers founder, Jacqueline Gold.

Each week Jacqueline showcases a different woman in business who she thinks is doing great things. I’m thrilled to have my WOW badge.

A profile on International Women’s Day

On International Women’s Day, I was profiled on the Zatu Games website. Different members of staff at Zatu selected different women working in the board games industry to write blogs about.

The article gives a bit of background and an overview of the games as well as mentioning the Kickstarter campaigns. I’m pleased to be in such esteemed company.

An interview with Birdwood Games

I had the delight of spending a lovely hour being interviewed by Lottie from Birdwood Games for their newsletter. Birdwood Games are bringing out their first game through Kickstarter this autumn.

We talked about designing games for families, Kickstarter tips, and how she balances designing and publishing. Have a read.

Kickstarter Success

The Uranus! Kickstarter campaign ended on 1st April having been 225% funded – which is terrific.

The games will be going into production in about 2 weeks time and we’re on schedule to dispatch to backers in July.

During the campaign we had two new bits of press coverage:

  1. A review of Uranus! appeared in Tabletop Spirit Magazine. Read it here.
  2. Alfie & I did a play-through of Uranus! with Chris Eggett, the editor of Tabletop Gaming Magazine. Watch it here.
